Approximately 3 mm is one of the dimensions shaping Pinmoo’s development. When a device sits beside something you carry or on a door, a small amount of thickness changes its presence. We pursue a slim profile because of how it can fit into daily actions.
Thinness is more than subtraction
An enclosure, a display and internal components have to share a limited space. Making them thinner is only part of the work. Handling, readability, assembly and stability in use also need consideration. The outside outline and the internal structure belong to the same design problem.
Let the information stay central
E-paper gives plans and notes a quiet visual setting. The body should support that feeling. We are refining the white surfaces, edge thickness and visibility of the green light to find a balance in which the information remains the focus.
The situations beyond the number
Approximately 3 mm is an important design reference, but everyday use gives it meaning: a plan near your phone, a shopping note on the fridge, something to take when you leave. How the device looks and works in those situations remains central to development.
The visuals show a design in development and proposed usage scenes. Final dimensions and construction may change through validation.
